@digitallysick understand that this tech is a breakthrough for whats to come in the future. plus -if you do walk- it’s hard to understand how it feels to finally be able to walk, let alone stand; wither be you were unable to walk from birth or from an accident.

  • Wolfrain789:

@kashyaphhml but the way that science evolves and how our God givin brains begin to understand things better, we will have no problem in fixing the problems in such tech and make it better. i.e: from drum sounds to cell-phones

  • EyeHi:

We’ll be watching this video in 10-20 years and be just amazed as we are when we watch the videos of the first Apple today.

@Lexman00 i hear you, but human beings only concentrate on what they want not what they need. we always follow what seams appealing to us and gives us something to tune out from the real world -which is awful to us- and go for the things that make us either great and powerful (nukes, weapons, businesses, how to make a better gulf club, how to improve ones batting swing, etc), and entertained to again “tune out” (television, celebrity gossip, fast food, etc) instead of trying to fix problems.

i hope nothing turns out bad with this because it looks like a great peice of technology that would help people in so many ways :D yay for tech!!

  • KllassIIK:

@Lexman00 All of that cost too much. Plus not many even care for it. Unless you have money to wipe your ass with, solar panels, mechanical limbs, and even the fucking hospital bills are costly.

  • digitallysick:

Why does it walk so slow, the wheel chair looks faster

  • IMwtfable:

@Lexman00 LED is green tech and things like bionic legs are obviously a lot more difficult to make than TVs… interacting with neurons is a not a simple task.

  • CelticPoison:

Bet his girlfriend bitches at him to use it on the weekends. On a serious note, this is a great piece of tech, I know Reeves before he passed was starting to come around by doing shit like this. Im sure it strengthens the muscle even slightly, and readies him for if he ever recovers.

  • captainspandex11:

@Lexman00 What you have said is 100% true. The reason for that is that things like consumer electronics are profitable, and they take those profits and invest in improving that technology. Scientific research isn’t profitable (at least not immediately) and most funding for green tech, medical tech, space tech comes from the government. It’s unfortunate that that is the case but it is.
