Lionesses attempt to attack cape buffalo at Djume Game Reserve, South Africa August 11, 2007. Tables get turned on them for abit. Lionesses finally gave up on eating & went back to drinking.
Rexon takes a twig, peels it into three strips & braids a rope out of it then tells us how it can be made into a bracelet and given to a woman to signify engagement. Hmmmmm......I like diamonds better and aren't they mined in South Africa??
A hippo soaking in Buffelshoek (Buffalo Corner) with 2-3 terripins on it's back; then finally terrapins are gone & after a while hippo gets out of water & ambles away.....grumbling as it goes.
It was Open Mic Night at the Nkorho Pan Comedy Club in the early morning hours of February 27, 2008. 5 hyenas were not shy and put on a show. Although they could not be seen very well there was no problem hearing them!
Elephants get too close to where this hippo was laying in a shallow hole of Gowrie waterhole, Djuma Game Reserve so he clims out & runs!! into the deep water.
Baby Bush Baby hiding in a tree allowed Marco & Alex to get close to it. Marco said it's the closest he's ever gotten to a bush baby. Spent a lot of time with it. A Cutie Patootie!
I found out late about Graham being on the radio so only got the last bit of the show (where he tells about the first WEwalk) and also included Jenny, the host's story about being mock charged by an elephant.
At least I think they are antlions.
EDITED: I've been told they are dnug beetles. Whatever..they are beetles!
I couldn't find any pictures that looked exactly like these critters but maybe like we humans they all don't look alike!
