I believe Dan Kish is the original user and teacher of echolocation. Daniel Kish, Executive Director of World Access for the Blind. Dan is the first certified blind Orientation & Mobility Specialist in the world. He is one of the world's foremost experts on echolocation. The blind can be taught to "see" by using echolocation along with the latest technological advances in the field.

Christmas at our home in Rolla, MO. I was eight years old. My big gift was a .22 rifle. Mom got a Gruen watch. Dad got a pipe. I stuck some slides on the end to show more of our life there. It doesn't look so great but for a boy growing up it was utopia. Although I didn't realize it at the time.
