We lived in the coldest city in the world (Yakutsk) for over a year. The Yakut people are wonderful with a beautiful culture combined with high levels of education.
This was one of the first exchange trips between Alaska and Russia. Vladivostok was still a closed city and port for the Russian Pacific Navy. People were very hospitable
Bahji is the resting place of Baha'u'llah who was the prophet founder of the Baha'i Faith. The gardens, the Bahji mansion, and the entrance to the Shrine of Baha'u'llah are featured.
Tracy Arm is a beautiful fiord near Juneau Alaska. We chartered a sailboat for a 3 day trip and saw icebergs larger than a building, many seals, mountain goats, and a 100 lb halibut.
