This is a very neat way to top-up your mobile in Saudi Arabia. It is basically an acoustic coupler with some other stuff attached. You dial a short code "1456" and tones are played, the m-pay terminal communicates using audio tones via the speaker and microphone, top up is applied to the phone without a scratch card, mag-stripe card or other additional items.
A short narrative that I somehow convinced my mom to act in. It was shot sequentially in camera edit. The film recorded sound on a magnetic strip adjacent to the image which could only be played on a special Super-8 projector that reads the mag stripe.
I liked working with this film a lot although it took a bit more preparation as the film was costly for a student with a part time job.
