The drilling rig moved on, but it was a long haul and I couldn't stay for the actual rig up that happenend a day later, but did get to see many loads arrive onsite.
I love this sh*t, there is nothing cooler than oilfield trucks and the drilling rigs they haul around, as Alienincognito of Precision rig #150 would say: "Riggin is the life!"

Day 2 and the dirt movers have arrived, it is a bid job to pad with dirt fill, so they are pre-leveling as best they can in order to haul less material. A bonus feature and quite unexpected dog stars in this vid for Zoetoots as he knew you would be watching

We had to install some "Weeping tile" log drains to make sure the water didn't come up and make a mess, hopefully the logs give just enough space to let the water seep from under the pad.
Started hauling dirt yesterday, 4 dump trucks an the 324D loading out. Switched out the D6H for the D6R 6-way, the operator is happy, it has been getting chilly, -2c in the morning.
