This footage, taken by an SS war correspondent shows the lead elements of Kampfgruppe Peiper's heavy tank battalion moving through the town of Tondorf on the afternoon of Dec. 16, 1944.
Suppressor comparison, MP40 with large can and Luger Pistol with small can. Difference in sound level is negligible, MP40 rated FRP at 114 dB, Luger at 121 dB. Ammo used was standard Barnaul 115 gr FMJ.
