Now with fuel prices at record levels and headed higher, shippers are adding on huge surcharges to make up the difference. Paradise doesn't look so appealing anymore.
The human smuggling (illegal immigration) of millions of illegal immigrants from Mexico and points south to the USA is causing a environmental disaster along the southern border. Thousands of tons of trash are littered across the area causing many problems for the delicate ecosystem.
