A recently discovered footage of Van Der Graaf playing in the Bataclan theatre. It was filmed for a show called Pop Deux.
This is an excerpt from Lost. I took the liberty of doing some remastering on the sound.
Here's another rare snippet, from 1979 - Peter Hammill and Graham Smith live from France (broadcasted on French TV).
Picture and sound are a bit shakey, but what a performance!
This is a snippet from a DVD that i edited of the historical Van Der Graaf Generator reunion concert from May 6th, 2005. It was edited from 7 different video footages, all shot from the audience.
The entire DVD (full show, over two hours) is shared via Torrents for a long time now.
For this version, i removed the 'not for sale' title that exists on the DVD
I originally wanted to upload the great performance of This Side of the Looking Glass from 1982 with the orchestra, but someone already uploaded it. So instead, i'm uploading this rare (?) performance of Traintime from Lille 20/4/96, also with an orchestra
Encore of a great show, from Roxy Theatre, april 1985.
This clip is taken from a wonderfully shot audience show. Many thanks for the man behind the camera!
After a second thought, i decided to upload this copy which is a major improvement in quality to the other one on YouTube.
I will also upload My Room from that show soon.
This performance was held in Munich, Germany in December 9th, 1981.
Since i see that you like the VDGG stuff i'm putting here, i've decided to add something i havn't seen here before - Van Der Graaf live/rehearsals from Kohfidisch Festival 1978.
Enjoy and comment.
A rare clip from Italian TV showing Alan Sorrenti with David Jackson from i THINK 1973, after the first VDGG breakup.
With interviews in Italian. Quality isn't so good..
