Bill and I walked in to find Josie hiding under the coffee table, painting it with her lipgloss. It was hard to contain our giggles at first because she would stop whenever she heard us.
Maddie and Josie dance to a Japanese supergroup on the small stage at "Tooner Field." Sorry about the constant noises the camera man (me) makes, or how he moves the camera in and out like an idiot. I was having WAY too much fun.
A group of award-winning cloggers performing at the Yellow Daisy Festival in Stone Mountain, GA. For northerners like us, it was the funniest thing we'd ever seen.
Maddie shows why the minimum age for the class is 3, and not 2 and 1/2 as she blows up the hokey pokey, then ends the class with a flourish. Sorry for the bad camera work, my wife was trying to stay out of sight.
We knew she'd never follow along with the group. What we didn't know is that she'd become obsessed with the construction paper pieces that were supposed to be their placeholders.

This was my submission for the 2006 ATLA film festival. Bash the direction or writing all you want--that's all on my shoulders. But please be kind to the actors. Not only are they not here to defend themselves, but one of them is my lovely wife. :)
This is part of Maddie's ballet recital for this past Spring. Instead of a show onstage, they did a small demonstration of their skills in class. She got to do her leaps and arabesque. All parents got to attend.
