ABBAWORLD made its stunning, sequin spangled, world debut in London at Earls Court on January 27 2010. It runs until March 28 2010 before going on tour. The hugely interactive experience takes visitors on a mind-blowing journey through ABBAWORLD's 25 rooms bursting with exclusive music, footage, images and never-before-displayed memorabilia from the personal collections of the world's most cherished pop icons Agnetha, Benny, Björn and Frida. An engaging introductory movie by critically acclaimed film director Jonas Åkerlund will start the experience. A free audio guide will move visitors through the magical space at their own pace. The phenomenon of ABBA will be brought to life with interactive highlights including: 'Perform with ABBA' which will allow fans to get up on stage with their idols as part of a stunning 3D holographic illusion, 'Tretow MIX Challenge' - a chance to mix things up and re-create the ABBA sound and the 'ABBA Quiz' which will test fans knowledge. There is also the opportunity to Sing-A-Long and dance with ABBA, plus a chance for fans to see themselves as part of an ABBA video. Visitors can see recreations of Polar Studios where Abba recorded and the Viggso island cabin where Bjorn and Benny wrote their hits. All interaction is recorded via the ticket barcode so people can choose to access it later online at www.abbaworld.com, allowing their experience to live on and on just like the music. On entry to ABBAWORLD guests will have their photograph taken, this will appear during a number of the interactive features. Fans will see themselves as part of ABBA album covers, posters and other iconic pictures. Frida said "On behalf of Agnetha, Björn, Benny and I we are delighted to be part of ABBAWORLD and to have the opportunity to share our amazing experiences with our fans. The interactive elements mean this is the first time we can actually take them on the journey with us. London has a special place in all our hearts and we are looking forward to the world premiere of ABBAWORLD in January." A large number of the ABBA treasures on display that have never been shown before are handpicked and previously owned by the four members of the group. There are also hundreds of other original memorabilia - everything from stage clothes, instruments, theatrical props and personal belongings to unique videos, gold discs and awards, TV interviews and photos from the astonishing career of the band. In addition there will be a huge amount of ABBA-related items from band members, Stikkan Andersson's family, the stage crew, fans and other key people from all around the world. On top of that both newly recorded and old material that has never been shown before will be presented. A newly developed audio guide TXP (Touring Exhibitions Player) will serve as an interface between the audience and the highly interactive environment of the ABBAWORLD exhibition. Production director Mats Daleskog says: "It's a really cool gadget more akin to game controllers and mp3 players, and much more in line with what our audience has come to expect from modern personal audio technology. All the user has to do is to set the volume and point the TXP at the object he or she wants to know more about and the information will start playing automatically." Magnus Danielsson, president of Touring Exhibitions the company behind ABBAWORLD, is excited about Stellan Skarsgård being the voice of the audio guide and says: "Stellan adds character and off-beat humour to the guide, and his voice is well known all over the world. We are very happy that he is participating in ABBAWORLD". The script for the audio guide is written by ABBA expert and author of the best selling biography 'ABBA The Story' Carl Magnus Palm. It will take the visitors on an exciting journey through the fantastic career of ABBA. Speaking at the opening ceremony Frida said thank you to the team who helped create their first official exhibit: "I and Bjorn sang a song together down there! It was not like it was before but it was a lot of fun." They were also presented with a new set of gold discs to represent 375m album sales worldwide. "The biggest disc ever made!" declared Lucian Grainge, chief executive of Universal Music Group as he handed it over. Bjorn raised a laugh from the room saying "Can anyone imagine 375m albums in front of them? It hasn't gone to my head at all! We feel like pioneers again, like with Mamma Mia! and I'll bet other acts follow us." Organisers confirmed plans for ABBA World to open in Australia - the second biggest market for ABBA fans after the UK - and New York by the end of the year. For more information about ABBAWORLD please go to www.abbaworld.com. Tickets are priced at £22.00 / £19.50 (subject to booking fee) and are available from www.livenation.co.uk Crazy World was recorded on October 23 1974 and released as the B-side of Money, Money, Money on November 1 1976. It was later added as a bonus track to the "Abba" album cd.

Thanks Avril - I went on Feb 18 in school half term and spent all day there looking round at everything and was very impressed. There were lots of families with fascinated kids taking it all in and plenty of teenagers taking part in the dancing and sing-along. The younger generation is just as crazy about Abba as we are and now they can see how their great music was done - with lots of hard recording and remixing work in the studio and shutting yourself away on a Swedish island!

Cheers Jose - the next place its going to visit is Melbourne in June, as the Aussies have always been Abba-crazy! Then it goes to New York, with further plans to be decided. I visited a week ago Thursday and had a great day out seeing all their history, and had to be dragged out to catch the coach back home!

Thanks Pepe - yes I went and saw Abba World in London last Thursday. It was a very good day out with all their history on display with commentaries and plenty of things to take part in. I just managed to exit in time to catch my coach back home! Its going on a world tour starting with Melbourne in June followed by New York. I don't think they've decided where next after that - so its always possible they might "Take A Chance On You"!

Yes its a beautiful song Marie and Bjorn's delivery is absolultely perfect so that you believe its him in this emotional situation! I looked for give info that would be useful to anyone thinking of making a visit, so they would know what to expect making their way around. Yes its a long way right across your country, wheras we're a fraction of that size! You're right Frida does still looks great. That was a youngster, so let them off this time with a diplomatic response - unlike that rrhof one!

This song is so lovely (a bit sad). Your vid is great and I am really happy with all the information you wrote. I wish they would come to California instead of NY......sigh.. Thank you John!.........Oh and I truly believe that Frida is still one classy looking lady.
